Open Morning

Wednesday 29 April 2026, 9am ​​​

Get ready for a memorable morning at St Mary’s Primary! 

From the moment you arrive, our friendly Leadership Team will welcome you in the Hall, setting the tone for an engaging journey through our bustling school. Guided tours run throughout the morning, so you can explore every corner and see our vibrant learning environment in action.

Arrive from 8.30am and head straight to the School Hall to sign in by 9am.
Three tour sessions are available: 9:05am, 9:30am, and 10:00am—pick the time that suits you best!
Parking is a breeze at the Timothy Molony​ oval off Elizabeth Street, with clear signage and a helpful marshal on hand to guide you.

As you wander, enjoy uplifting performances from our Combined Crescendos Choir in the Hall, grab a coffee from the local van, and treat yourself to delicious snacks. Make the most of your visit by ticking off sights and activities on your own ‘Bingo Card’—it’s a fun way to explore and discover the best of St Mary’s!

Whether you’re new to our community or returning, there’s something for everyone. Connect with our passionate teaching team, enjoy lively arts and sports activities, and see firsthand how we inspire a lifelong love of learning from Prep onwards.

From 27 April – 3 May, Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) schools across South East Queensland are welcoming families for BCE Open Week to explore our communities and experience what makes each school unique.  We are excited to be part of BCE Open Week and invite you to see our community in action.  

Parking Information
Our Woodend community of Schools turns into a hive of activity in the mornings, with kids on foot and parents weaving through the streets like it's peak hour at the servo. If you're thinking of driving in before 8.30am, brace yourself—it's busier than a magpie in spring. Best to arrive a little later to dodge the school run chaos! (maplink-parking across from the Parish building)
